Affiche Galerij (The Hague) and the 3.sec.gallery (Breda) brought a poster competition into life under the slogan “I Save Sex.” My department of the art academy, was given the chance to participate in the competition.
I took this opportunity and created a sexy poster. If you look closely at my design, you know my poster is HIV positive.
Oh! And guess who’s poster has been selected!?
Mirko Borsche is one of Germany’s most exciting editorial designers. Accordingly I decided to create a short publication which reflects on his thoughts about design and the challenges of its business.
The newspaper will make you understand which way you have to choose if you want to stand out to make a good competition in the world of design.
You don’t have to throw this newspaper away. If you unfold the newspaper, you got three posters to hang on your wall.
I love to experiment with tools and colours. Just for fun!
Ik vraag u iets meer lef te tonen
‘Ik vraag u iets meer lef te tonen’ is a novel written by a Dutch designer and teacher Renate Boere which is part of a hybrid publication. It comprises a book that is linked to a website that I designed and coded on a user-friendly basis.
The aim is to enable the reader to go through the book as fast as possible without being distracted and subsequently be able to start an online roadmap for a self-initiated project.
North Sea Jazz
Not one, but two posters that I designed have been selected for the final stage of the yearly North Sea Jazz art poster competition.
Most of the time I am working on my Macbook. However, since my Macbook got broken, I have been challenged to design an album cover all by hand, which went pretty damn well!!
